Spring Crop Retreat 2021

So glad that we are able to have the Retreat this spring!

Here are the details I have.  I may update periodically as I have more information.


Friday, March 5, 2021 at 4:00 pm to Sunday March 7, 2021 at 4:00 pm


The Ashley Inn, Cascade, ID

Prices are staying the same as last year (payment links below):

$225 per person for 2 people to a room

$185 per person for 3 people to a room

$170 per person for 4 people to a room

This fee includes 2 nights’ stay at the Ashley Inn, continental breakfast both mornings, catered lunch and dinner on Saturday and Subway lunch on Sunday, plus your own table space for the weekend and other fun goodies from us!

The one difference from previous years is this: Karla and I cannot provide dinner on Friday night.  The hotel cannot allow us to bring in food.  So everyone is on their own for Friday night dinner.

What about Masks?

The Ashley Inn told me that Valley County has a mask mandate.  That means when you’re in town, going to the store or a restaurant, you may be required to wear one.  However, the Ashley Inn is private property and when you are inside the hotel, you are not required to wear a mask.  It is recommended, but optional.  They also have hand sanitizer easily available.

I will let you know, I’m high risk and have not had a vaccine, so I will be wearing a mask that weekend.  We also have plenty of room to space ourselves out.

So, since we’re getting started a little late this year, here are the deadlines:

The retreat deposit of $75 must be paid by February 5th to hold your spot.

The remainder of the retreat fee is due by March 1st.

Typically we have to pay the hotel two weeks in advance, but that’s not reasonable this year.  We do, however, have to have the final list to the hotel two weeks before March 5th.  Plus, the hotel has told us that if for some reason we have to cancel, the portion of the fees related to the catered meals will not be refunded, so please understand that if you have an issue, such as the need to quarantine or another emergency, we will work with you to refund as much of the fees as we can, but we cannot refund 100% if it’s after February 19th.

Those are all of the details I have at the moment, but I’ll update as soon as there’s more to share.

It’s finally THAT time again!

Time to talk RETREAT!

Once again, Elizabeth and I are hosting a fall scrapbooking retreat in fabulous Twin Falls, Idaho.  Here are the deets:

The Location:  The Hampton Inn, Twin Falls, Idaho

The Dates:  October 18-20, 2019

The Cost: $197 per person sharing a room for two.  (Please contact me or Elizabeth if you need different rooming accommodations, like 3 to a room, a room to yourself, etc.)  A deposit of $50 is due by August 31st to hold your spot, and the remainder is due by September 29th, which is our cutoff date to give the room list to the hotel.  Please do not contact the hotel to reserve your room.  We have already reserved a block of rooms for our group.

The hotel provides a really nice breakfast both mornings and Elizabeth and I will provide lunch on Saturday and Sunday and dinner on Saturday night.  Please plan to take care of your own dinner on Friday night.

Start time on Friday is 5:00 pm (that’s when we’ll have the conference room set up and open the doors).  End time is 3pm on Sunday.
